These images were scanned from paper photographs courtesy of Jennifer Thomas and were shot from a helicopter taking aerial photographs of the Cabo del Mar development.  Click on each image for a hi-res version.

This first image is looking east and shows the Parkside property on the right.  There is grading in progress for the Ralphs/Longs shopping center on the left side of the image which can be used to date these photographs.  This Ralphs store opened in 1994, and the Longs store opened in 1995, so these pictures were likely taken no later than 1994 or perhaps 1993.

This next image shows the fallow land revegetating, with large shrubs in evidence.

The last image features the knoll area opposite the small bridge over the Wintersburg Channel adjacent to the Slater Pump Station outflow.  Notice how the knoll appears more prominent than today; it is difficult to tell from this image whether the knoll is actually bigger, or merely has a ring of dirt piled around it making it only seem bigger.
